Technical Trainer
Who we need
We are looking for a career-oriented individual. Responsibilities include
- Design, development, and the conduct technical training programs for new and existing employees
- Demonstrated proficiency in adult learning principles. Experienced in a variety of teaching methods; including classroom instruction, group facilitation, computer-based, and individual coaching.
- Development and customization of training programs using blended technology based on the evaluation of job competencies and/or needs assessments
- Development and preparation of training materials, instructor guides, labs, and audio/visual aids as necessary. Ability to prepare training materials from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation
- Development and design of assessments and test measures to demonstrate knowledge gain, skill acquisition and/or job performance competency
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures and recommend changes to improve workflow and optimize job performance
- Consults with customers and functional organization to develop specifications for content of courses.<p>

HealthServicesNW provides medical financial services to health care facilities in Washington, Alaska and Montana. Jointly owned by Providence Health System and Swedish Medical Center, it provides business office support to hospitals and long-term care facilities. HSNW supports hospital and patient billing, customer service, insurance claims collection, and account maintenance
Specific Qualifications
Education: Four-year degree or comparable training and work experience in technical communication, education with technical work experience or related.
Experience: Minimum three years of progressively more responsible experience in technical training/learning and development. Formal training experience preferred. Prefer some background in healthcare and/or medical revenue cycle management. <p>
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- PC Proficiency in MS Windows and Office applications. Desire experience with Web based instruction, learning management systems, on-line sharing. Background with Camtasia, Contribute or Captivate helpful
Familiarity with computer-based instruction
- Excellent verbal and written skills. Proficient in instructional design and developing curricula
- Ability to work with highly diverse clientele
- Strong skills in group instruction and one-on-one coaching/tutoring
- Able to work in a highly productive team environment, sharing ideas, identifying problems and potential solutions
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
- Desire understanding of issues related to third party reimbursement and managed care
- Experience in healthcare setting and previous experience with the revenue cycle management helpful
- Strong customer service skills.

HSNW Application and Development Trainer
Who We Need
We are looking for a career-oriented individual to design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate training programs for new and existing employees. This person will be able to utilize a variety of teaching methods; including classroom instruction, group facilitation, computer-based, and individual coaching. The Development and Applications trainer conducts training for individual and group sessions utilizing adult learning theory and a variety of teaching methods. He or she will also develop customized training programs based on the evaluation of job competencies and/or needs assessments. This individual will develop test materials/measures to demonstrate knowledge gain, skill acquisition and/or job performance competency. He or she will also analyze systems and procedures and recommend changes to improve workflow and optimize job performance.
